Onigiri Bā is a mobile food station in Sofia serving authentic Japanese onigiri — soul food wrapped in simplicity, strength, and care. In Japan, onigiri are everywhere: handwritten signs, corner shops, quick snacks full of comfort. In Sofia, they are curious, bold, and modern — especially when served straight from a brightly branded truck. To design a logo that captures the spirit of onigiri as both a cultural staple and an urban novelty. The identity had to feel authentic, hand-touched, and energetic, while standing out on the streets of a European capital.

The color palette draws from traditional onigiri — soft whites, deep blacks, bright pickled reds — but turned up to their most vibrant tones, representing the meeting point of heritage and modern street culture.

The English wordmark is bold and modern, giving the brand a confident voice in its new local setting.

The Japanese sign is hand-drawn, echoing the spontaneous signage seen across street corners in Japan.

The result is a brand that’s approachable, flavorful, and culturally tuned — just like Onigiri Bā itself. A small identity that wraps comfort, curiosity, and adventure into every bite.
